Core Cable Manufacturing Process

The customized cable manufacturing process at WorldwideCables covers complete procedures from conductor processing to final assembly, with each step following standardized operations precisely:

  • Incoming Material Test: Before starting production, WorldwideCables conducts strict inspections on incoming copper wires, conductors, and various eco-friendly plastics or special comopund to ensure all raw materials meet quality requirement.
  • Copper Stranding & Insulator Extrusion and Twisting: Workstation operators process and twist extremely fine bare copper wires to create a cable core with high conductivity and physical flexibility, followed by extruding insulation over the conductor.
  • Anti-Electromagnetic Interference Isolation (Spiral & Braiding): For high-frequency data or signal transmission requirements, WorldwideCables provide with customers shielding options of spiral or braiding layer around the stranded wires. This metal isolation layer effectively blocks external Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), ensuring stable data signal transmission for interfaces.
  • PVC and Eco-Friendly Material Outer Jacket Extrusion: WorldwideCables not only provides customers with PVC material meeting worldwide Green Policy such as RoHS, REACH, CA65, Sony Green Partners and etc., but also due to professional cable production techniques and diversified production machines enable WorldwideCables capable to supply eco-friendly materials, such as Low Smoke Free Halogen (LSFH / LSZH), TPU/PUR, TPE, for customers’ options of cable jacket. To enhancing safety in the applied environment.
  • Custom Cable Assembly: Apart from above raw cable production, WorldwideCables offers services of assembly work with various electronic connectors to deliver the final customized product.

  • Digital Aided Design and Electrical Simulation: The WorldwideCables R&D engineering team utilizes professional computer software to design and optimize the internal structure and electrical characteristics of the cables.
  • New Design and Quality Review Mechanism: All new product developments must undergo internal cross departments evaluation and external discussion with customers to ensure the capability. WorldwideCables conducts routine quality review meetings for cause analysis and countermeasure formulation, ensuring optimization of product manufacturing processes and design.

World-Class Quality Control and Laboratory Testing

WorldwideCables employsprofessional IPQC, IQC and FQC personnels in different work stations to conduct Quality Control (QC) and invests in high-end laboratory testing equipment to verify product reliability using scientific data:

  • Flame Retardant Resistance and Physical Flexibility Testing: WorldwideCables uses a dedicated flame retardant testing machine to verify the flame-retardant capabilities of its cables; simultaneously, swing testing machines are used to subject cables to repeated bending and pulling, ensuring the physical durability and lifespan of the products.
  • Linear Motion Testing and Durability: WorldwideCables invests professional linear motion tester to ensure the durability and life span after millions cycles (or even more depending on given standards).
  • International Safety Certifications and Environmental Standards: The products and facility management of WorldwideCables have obtained multiple international safety certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, UL, and CSA.
